Goomi Group.

We built a platform that makes it easy for companies to design and manage custom wellness programs with just a few clicks. Employers can survey staff, get personalized class and teacher recommendations, schedule sessions, and access ready-made content like newsletters and blog posts each month. The platform also tracks engagement and offers flexible payment options, making wellness programming effortless and impactful.

Challenge

Corporate wellness programming provider The Goomi Group needed a custom solution to simplify the entire program lifecycle. Their platform needed to coordinate several heavy-duty functions and integrate with insurance brokers.

Solution

The final product enables orgs to easily offer a custom program of wellness classes and workshops based on feedback from employee surveys and other business-specific factors.

Results

The admin and broker/carrier apps help minimize the administrative burden of offering wellness programming so that Goomi’s clients can offer a full calendar of custom wellness support to their employees — with very little effort.

Live classes that fit the day

One of our key challenges was helping users find and commit to live wellness classes that seamlessly fit into their daily routines. We solved this by building an intuitive filtering system for duration, type, and instructor — paired with a calendar-based attendance flow.

Smart reminders ensure users never miss a class, enhancing engagement and accountability.

Surfacing hundreds of on-demand videos

With hundreds of fitness videos, organizing and surfacing relevant on-demand content became a core UX challenge. To tackle this, we introduced multi-dimensional filtering, curated collections, and unlockable content tiers.

This gave users control and clarity while encouraging deeper exploration and subscription upgrades.

A lightweight way to stay motivated

We needed a lightweight yet effective way for users to stay motivated by tracking their participation. Our solution was a simplified activity calendar view showing upcoming and completed sessions.

This visual feedback loop reinforces consistency while making the wellness journey feel structured and rewarding.

Keeping instructors informed, not overwhelmed

Our second challenge was designing an experience that would keep instructors reliably informed and prepared — without overwhelming them. We created a focused weekly activity screen that surfaces only the most relevant upcoming classes, with a clear CTA to join.

A multi-channel notification system (push, SMS, email) ensures instructors never miss a class or update. Profile and settings management allow for easy control over bio, preferences, and communication settings — all in one place.

Our last goal — translating the mobile experience into a responsive, browser-friendly interface — introduced its own set of design challenges. We needed to maintain the same intuitive flow while optimizing for larger screens and varied user contexts, whether at a desk or on the go.

Key features like class discovery, instructor dashboards, profile management, and calendar activity tracking were all reimagined for desktop interactions. The result is a unified experience across mobile and web that feels native on both platforms, empowering users and instructors to engage with wellness content wherever they are.
